The United Nations University is offering scholarships for the PhD in Sustainability Science, and is now accepting applications. The applicants should be a national of any developing country. It must be demonstrated that the applicant is in need for financial support and help. English language requirement is also necessary. The minimum score required is 600 on TOEFL in the paper-based testing while 100 on TOEFL in the internet-based testing. If given IELTS, the applicant must score 7.0.
All important documents must be submitted with the application form such as all the academic transcripts and degrees, reference and motivation letters, etc. Without these important documents, admission in the university is not possible.
Benefits of the scholarship
This scholarship gives many benefits to the candidates winning the award. The benefits include a monthly allowance that is 120,000 JPY which is for the living expense for maximum three years of the degree program. Also, the tuition fee is waived off the scholarship amount.
