About the Course

With the globally increasing development of self-driving vehicles, traffic safety is facing major challenges. Thus, the course is for candidates who contains a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or and wishes in the future to get involved in the vehicle industry, road design, and traffic engineering.

This course teaches the basic fundamentals of active safety (systems for avoiding crashes or reducing crash consequences) and passive safety (systems for avoiding or reducing injuries). The program’s concepts involve in-crash protective systems, collision avoidance, and safe automated driving.
